Didn't have much to do in the morning. Went for a walk along the shores of South China sea (my hotel room overlooks South China sea). In the afternoon we went see the "heritage village" of the natives. Along the way, we passed the University and it was graduation day. We saw many parents bring their newly minted graduate sons and daughters bouquets of flowers.

The heritage village looked like any other heritage village, until we actually entered one. It seems that to get married the bridegroom-to-be had to bring a head or two (after course severing them from the torso of the unfortunate victims). The skulls were then hung overhead as trophies which can be seen in heritage village cottages. About 150 years ago, the British put a stop to it. These days, the Guide told us, money works just as well as severed heads in getting the girl.

Back at the hotel we were entertained by native dancers followed by a traditional Malaysian meal.
